If you’re in the Twickenham area try and get to Eel Pie Island to check out the artists there. Accessed through a working boat yard, the artists’ area has a wonderful, and very photogenic, bohemian feel to it. The studios will be open to the public on the 18th & 19th of June, 2011, from 11am until 6pm. It’s a great chance to see some stunning contemporary art and chat to the artists, and have a glass or two of Pimms if the sun is out!
